But to do this course it is necessary that you should have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects and the minimum age should be 17 years. After this, if you want, you can do PG degree i.e. MD in Ayurveda and MS in Ayurveda courses in this field. Diploma and certificate courses are also being offered in some institutes. Admission to this course is done on the basis of various entrance exams.
Employment prospects :-
After completing your studies, you can start working as junior doctors in private and government Ayurvedic hospitals and clinics. One can get teacher job in Ayurveda colleges.
