1. West Bengal has bagged the prestigious "Star of Governance-SKOCH Award in Education".
➨The ‘Star of Governance-SKOCH Award in Education’ will be conferred to West Bengal on 18 June 2022 at New Delhi.

2. The Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University signed a pact with Delhi Prisons department for training and skill enhancement of inmates to support their long term rehabilitation.

5. The Army Training Command signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Gandhinagar-based Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) to develop a 'Wargame Research and Development Centre' in New Delhi.
6. The Ministry of Railways will collaborate with IIT Madras for the development of an “indigenous” Hyperloop system.

7. West Bengal’s Piyali Basak became the first Indian woman to scale Mt. Everest without supplementary oxygen.
➨In October of 2021, Piyali also became the first woman to climb Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167 meters) without any oxygen support.
8. Chhattisgarh is now the second state after Odisha to have recognised Community Forest Resource (CFR) rights inside a National Park, after the state government approved the CFR claims of Gudiyapadar and Nagalsar villages in Kanger Ghati National Park in Bastar district.

12. Author Geetanjali Shree created history by winning the prestigious International Booker Prize for her novel "Tomb of Sand".
➨ With this recognition, ‘Tomb of Sand’ became the first book in any Indian language to win the award.
➨ Shree won the prize alongside American translator Daisy Rockwell, who translated the Hindi novel into English.
13. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched the Olympic Values Education Programme (OVEP) virtually in 90 schools of the State.
