● The Indian Council of Historical Research (ICHR) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
● The primary aim and objective of the Indian Council of Historical Research is to promote and give directions to historical research and to encourage and foster objective and scientific writing of history.

Ujjwala 2.0 :-
●PM Ujjwala Yojana, 2021 program aims to end daily challenges of rural areas by providing free gas connection to women of below poverty line households.
●Apart from a deposit-free LPG connection, a free refill worth over Rs 800 and a free stove will be provided to the beneficiaries.
●Criteria for the scheme:-
- The applicant must be a woman
- The age of the woman should be more than 18 years
- She must be from a BPL family card
- There should not be LPG Connection in the name of any family member of the applicant.
PAHAL Scheme:-
● The PAHAL (DBTL) aims to reduce diversion and eliminate duplicate or bogus LPG connections.
● The scheme was earlier launched in 2013 and was modified in 2015. Under the PaHaL scheme, LPG cylinders are sold at market rates and entitled consumers get the subsidy directly into their bank accounts.
● This is done either through an Aadhaar linkage or a bank account linkage.
Forum for Decarbonizing Transport :-
● NITI Aayog and World Resources Institute(WRI), India, jointly launched the ‘Forum for Decarbonizing Transport’ in India as part of the NDC-Transport Initiative for Asia (NDC-TIA) project
● NITI Aayog is the implementing partner for the India component of the project.
● The NDC Transport Initiative for Asia (TIA 2020-2023) is a joint programme of seven organisations that will engage China, India, and Vietnam in promoting a comprehensive approach to decarbonizing transport in their respective countries
● The project aims at bringing down the peak level of GHG emissions (transport sector) in Asia (in line with a well below 2-degree pathway), resulting in problems like congestion and air pollution.
