SSC GD RECRUITMENT 2021
If you have not yet completed 23 years of your age and have passed 10th standard and want to get the job of constable, then the release issued by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) during the Covid period is not less than a golden opportunity for you. The Commission has invited applications from eligible youth for 25,271 vacancies of Constable General Duty (GD). In these posts, 22,424 posts have been earmarked for male constable and 2,847 for female constable. Earlier this notification was to be issued on March 25, but it was postponed due to the huge increase in the cases of Covid-19 across the country. SSC- GD exam is a common duty constable exam conducted annually by the Staff Selection Commission to recruit eligible personnel. The very first stage of the recruitment process is the Computer Based Examination (CBE) written examination. Successful candidates will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (TET) and Physical Measurement Test (PST). After that the process of medical examination and document verification will be carried out.
Selection Process :-
1. The CBE written exam will consist of 100 optional questions based on General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Elementary Elementary Mathematics and English/Hindi subjects.
2. 25-25 questions will be asked from each subject and there will be negative marking of fourth mark for each wrong answer, which students will have to take special care of.
3. The question paper will be in both Hindi and English languages and the time duration will be 90 minutes.
4. There is also a provision of bonus marks in the selection process for NCC certificate holders.
5. After CBE, the final merit will be the selection of qualified candidates on the basis of final merit by combining the marks of PET and PST.

For SSC-GD Constable Recruitment 2021, it is mandatory for the applicant to have passed 10th class from a recognized board or institute.
Age Range :-
Applicants age should be 18 to 23 years. Age will be calculated as on 01 Aug 2021 (applicant should be born not earlier than 02 Aug 1998 and not later than 01 Aug 2003). Age relaxation is given to the reserved categories as per the rules of the government.

Effective preparation strategy :-
•Practice previous year question papers and prepare notes.
•Under GK/GS, questions are also asked from General Science, History, Geography, Polity, Economy, Current Affairs, so make them a part of your strategy.
•General Intelligence and Reasoning is a scoring section. With proper guidance and enough practice, you can get full marks in it. - More questions are asked from Analogy, Coding/Decoding, Number Series and which are also scoring. These can be solved with complete practice.
•In English/Hindi section, focus will be on grammar and vocabulary. Spot the error, idioms, phrases, synonyms and antonyms are a must to practice. You will be able to score well with practice in maths. This can prove to be decisive in making merit.

Regular practice is the most important thing in these types of exams. You have to practice more and more questions on different topics while studying section wise.
